Good Saltwater Onland Fishing Spots in Sarasota Florida?

Im going away to a baseball tournament in sarasota florida and i was wondering if there are any good on land saltwater fishing spots around there. Im looking to catch anything although pompano would be fun. Any fish is fine though. Thanks. Also some good baits i could use there. Thanks

1. Any piece of beach will do. Just walk the waters edge watch the surf ahead of you for silver flashes. Better done in early morning. Pompano run water the waters edge looking for sand fleas. To catch sand fleas for bait watch a wave break on the beach as the water pulls back off the beach you will see small white bug looking things trying to dig into the sand. Just grab them they can't hurt you. Take a mesh bag catch a few put in bag dip bag in water from time to time. Hope this helps.
