Bumps on my body after going in the water which is a wastewater treatment plant/river water fishing lake? The water is cleaned and becomes cleaner than river water and then mixes with the river water on the way to the lake. Stocked with fish, people walk out into the water all the time to cast out into the lake while fishing. I took off my shirt and walked into the water to fish and something like sea foam rolled in and after I got out, where it touched on my chest up to right below my neck and shoulders are covered in bumps and itch like crazy. Is this a sign of something specific?

What is the best lure is for fishing at Lake Dallas? I am a beg fisherman here in the Texas but I have fished in many other countries. Other than fishing ground with minnows and shad, I would really like to be able to catch something using a lure. I fish in Lake Dallas on the weekends and normally camp over night on the little island that you can wade too. I would like to know what kind of lure I should use, size, and color it would be very helpful. I fish off the shore and there are lots of weeds, which can get really annoying. I have talked to a few fishermen in that area and they recommended using roadrunners but i'm not really sure how to use them and what colors to get. please advise.

Bass fishing tips for Lake Guntersville (Alabama) in mid-October? For those that are not familiar with it, Lake Guntersville is located in northern Alabama on the Tennessee River. It is the fifth largest man-made lake in the world, at about 65,000 square acres. I visit Lake Guntersville several times each year during the spring and summer to go bass fishing with friends but generally not in the late-fall or winter. Do you have any tips for bass fishing the lake or Tennessee river in mid-October or November? Suggestions on where to fish (type of structure, creek/tributary, GPS coordinates, etc)? How about what to fish with or your most effective tactics? Our group for this next trip will have two boats with trailers, so we can put in just about anywhere in the lake.
