Saltwater Fishing? I am going fishing in Cape Charles on Virginia's Eastern Shore. I plan to fish the whole time (from dock mostly but maybe by boat). I fish freshwater all the time for bass so I was wondering if I could use those plastics in saltwater with sucess. Any other suggestions for lures? I'm going to be fishing for mainly croakers and flounder I think. Plus anything else that is in the bay.

Saltwater fishing? What type of fish can i fish for in Bays. I have a 21 ft center console boat that I do not want to take Off shore. I want to stay in Bays and marshes. I know I can fish for Red Fish, trout, flounder. However I want to fish for much bigger fish if at all possible as well. I will be fishing primarily in Louisiana, MS, Florida in the Gulf of Mexico.

saltwater fishing????????? i fish on the intercoastal in florida. i use squid as bait. it rained hard from about 3 pm to 4 pm. it dried up very quickly. would the early heavy rain affect the fishing later tonight? i dont wanna go for no reason.

Is saltwater fishing good during the night time? I'm a little disappointed. I went saltwater fishing about a half hour in from the ocean one morning and caught many fish. The conditions were horrible, windy, choppy water, and cold. Today I checked out the water and seen it was perfectly calm and desided to try during the night. I went for around 5 hours (8pm-1am and didn't get anything except a few stingrays. The weather was warm-cool with little wind and nice calm water. Is saltwater fishing just bad during the night time or what? I'm along the east coast of Georgia
