Fishing Maps

I live in Houston. Where is the best place to fish saltwater without wading or using a boat? I want to take my girlfriend fishing and I would like to catch trout and redfish. Does anyone know where I can catch trout and redfish without wading (she won't wade), and we don't own a boat. I realize there are guide services on the Texas City, Galveston, coast. Maybe someone could give us some good info, thanks.

FLY fishing... hard to learn? My family of 4 is planning a trip to Colorado Springs, we were thinking about doing a guided tour to learn to fly fish. I personally don't fish that well even in the gulf (galveston!!). So... what do ya'll think?
