What will you leave behind when the fishing day is over? I'm leaving a legacy for my kids on CD about my fishing adventures, all my fishing tips and what not. I 've been doing this for 2 years running, like a gift for them when I'm long gone. Are any of you doing the same? Looking for similar toys to fisher price great adventures line? The Fish Price great adventures line was canceled years ago. Has Anyone Had Problems with Fish at Aquarium Adventure? I Have a Beautiful Aquarium in My house. My Tank is an Established Tank which has been a beautiful Addition to my home. I have had fish in my tank for several months, and have never had any problems with them. They have been very healthy and have thrived in my aquarium Recenly I went to the Aquarium Adventure in Columbus Ohio Located off of Sawmill Road. I noticed that they were selling Neon Tetra's and Head Light/ Tail Light Tetras for a Low Price. I Purchased 4 neon Tetra's and 2 head Light/ Tail Light Tetras After 24 Hours 1Head Light/Tail Light Tetra Died and 3 of the 4 Neon Tetra's Died. A week Later I discovered that the Surviving Headlight/Tail Light Tetra had Ick, Velvet and Droopsy. I began to Medicate my tank, but 2 days later I discovered that this fish contaminated almost all of my other fish. This has subsequently killed off most of my fish despite medication. The Management at Aquarium Adventure was less than helpful Have you has any problems?

I have a new tank and a fish died. Why? This is day 4 of my new tropical fish adventure. I put 5 fish in 2 days ago and I found one dead this evening. The water tests were ok. Maybe the nitrite level was a bit high but it was boarderline/ambiguous. I did a partial water exchange. I've followed all the instructions exactly. what could it be? I also noticed his tail was missing. Could he have been attacked by the other fish? (They are not nippy fish - all non aggressive) Or would the other fish have had a go after he died? 4 days. I put the fish in after 2. These were the instructions I was given byt he fish shop. Please understand I have followed all the advise from the fish shop and booklets etc! I have done EVERYTHING that I should have!!

When do you allow boys to roam freely? My son is 9. He had a blast with friends recently - the mom allowed her two sons (both 9) and mine to go, unsupervised, through the woods behind their house to a reservoir. Our sons fished, hiked, had adventures. Watching my son talk about how great it was to do this, I felt bad that I was terrified and upset to hear that my son had been roaming around unsupervised. A child killer was arrested only blocks from where they went into the woods. Obviously, that guy's in jail, but it leaves me realizing they could be anywhere. My husband thinks three nine year old boys can take care of each other and should be free to have such adventures. Obviously, I'd love my son to have this fun, but I find it hard to believe one should let 9 year old boys fun in the woods near a river (or anywhere) unsupervised. Have you coped with this? What do you do? What would you do? We live in a huge suburb of the nation's capital. I checked our state police registry of sex offenders; in the zip code for this woman's house (where the woods are) there are 47 registered sexual offenders. Does this change the calculation about how many bad guys are out there?

Why didn't they just do a MacGyver spin-off and call it The Adventures of Young Macgyver? I think it would have been hot for them to keep Sam Malloy on. Macgyver could have kicked it back fishing and such while his son took over. Dalton James was convincing as Mac's son and cute too! I know it's years later, but they could still do something like that. I collected all 7 seasons and the Stringer episode is my favorite. It's cute!

Question about SeaWorld and Wild Adventures? We are wanting to take our girls (age 4 and 5) to either SeaWorld or Wild Adventures for the Weekend soon. My question is which one do you think they will like better? Which park has more for children their ages to do. We have already did Disney and they spend the more time looking at the fish and stuff at the Nemo Ride at Epcot, so that is why we were thinking SeaWorld. But Wild Adventures has the water park that from what I heard is included in the ticket for the park. So give me some advice, also any cheap hotal suggestions? Anyone thats read the book The Adventures of Tom Sawyer? or just has a weird mind? in english we just finished reading the adventures of tom sawyer by mark twain. if you read the book you remember aunt Polly's crazy cures for tom. we have to come up with 5 of our own. she wants funny weird gross ones. for example one i came up with would be:-if you come dow with the flu get dead fish scales, worms and most recent throw up mix it all in a bucket with cat fur or any fur soak a rag in it and then wrap it around your mouth for one hour after the sickness is gone. im just not good at it. please help!

What are you eating as a part of your weight loss adventure? Like it says, trying to set a good schedule. I am usually pretty good during the week when I am at work. I eat a couple bowls of cereal, oatmeal or 4 scrambled eggs or breakfast, 2 light fat free yogurts, a couple sandwiches for lunch, a nutrigrain bar and whatever for dinner. Trying to get ideas for something else mainly for dinner. Keep away from fish because my g/f doesn't like that at all. Just looking for more ideas. What do you think of this poem, prose, story, whatever? I think of you swinging in your grandmother’s back yard. Excitement & predictability combined: An autistic child’s favorite activity. It’s no wonder that some days you’d stay on the swings for hours. No giggles or smiles, but a look of deep concentration as if you are trying to defy physics with every swing. But today, something apparently distracts you. Do you climb the fence on just a whim, or does something catch your eye? But over you go and the adventure begins. Wading through the tall weeds, chasing grasshoppers that scatter with every step. Weaving through the fallen trees that would block an adults’ path. At some point you hear a sound. The thrilling sound of trickling, gurgling, flowing water. No longer are your steps random, but with great purpose you hike through the grass & find the creek. Your shoes come off, then your socks and into the water you go. Following a school of fish, or maybe just the water’s flow when you step into the deep. Your head bobs under & without fear, you gulp the water. Mild discomfort, but no panic. It’s a comfort to know you were like that. And as the last of the oxygen is spent; peace, sweet peace. Floating in the water. I like to think that it was then that two strong yet gentle hands lift you up. A man is there, with eye’s as brown as your’s. You know him instantly as he knows you. “Up Granddaddy.” Up you go and the adventure continues. You can now wander anywhere with no reason to fear. No worries or dangers; just adventure, joy & love. I wrote this shortly after my nephew died last year. Mom just went into the house to check the laundry. When she came out & he was gone, she went down the lane looking for him.
